Five Generations ago, a Brampton man named Harry Dale began growing roses called Dale Autographed Roses, which he exported around the world and helped put Brampton on the map. This claim to fame is how Harry dale earned hie title of "The Rose Man" and how Brampton earned its place as "The Flower City of Canada". Rosedale Village is named after Mr. Dale's early pioneering family, and the flowers that helped make Brampton the beautiful and blooming city it is today.
